For us at Capital Print, it’s all about people

We love getting to know our customers – that’s what makes us great at what we do! Think of us as an extended part of your team, business or community.  We are passionate about making sure our materials deliver for you, and to do that we have a team of graphic designers, print specialists, designers and marketing professionals who are all totally focussed on making you look good, wherever your brand is seen.

We are here to support your projects all year round, ensuring to get your printing perfect, everytime. No job is ever too small or too large for us.  Whether your requirements are for business, pleasure or leisure, we’re here to help.

Investing in our passion

Our business was re-launched in June 2019, under the new management of George Rumball.  George himself has said he has ‘a burning passion for print’ and that’s reflected in the investments that have been made into the business since taking over.

We’ve given the exterior of the shop a facelift, and also redecorated and organised the ‘shop’ upstairs to create a more welcome and warming environment for our customers.  We love it when people pop in to chat with us, and all of our customers are always welcome to drop and have a coffee with us whilst we help you with your projects.

We have also invested heavily into some of our machinery in the ‘factory’ downstairs.  We know that our clients would prefer one place to have all their print requirements fulfilled, and therefore bought some new kit to help us provide that one-stop-shop!

There’s the new HP335 64inch large format printer, which enables us to meet the growing demand for large format graphics.  It’s also capable of printing onto various substrates to create new products such as weather resistant vinyls, floor graphics, all outdoor printed media with the same high-quality colour digital graphics in large format.

And there’s the new Vivid Veloblade Volta 64 cutter.  This machinery is really cool, and brings in die cutting in house.  We now have the capability to laser cut the most intricate of designs, with no need for expensive dies and long leadtimes, which are often not cost effective on one-off, small run jobs.

Carbon Capture Scheme

We are focused on reducing our impact on the  environment and addressing climate change. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Woodland Trust in joining their carbon capture scheme. We now capture our CO2 emissions from all paper purchases to help them plant trees right here in the UK.

We also like to “do our bit” in terms of reducing our carbon footprint – hence working with local businesses to reduce unnecessary transport costs – we have everything you need right here in the heart of the City.
